Houdini published this striking souvenir book as a program to be sold to audiences at his final tour from 1925-6. Its dramatic purple cover portrays a classic mysterious Houdini portrait, and it’s filled inside with wonderful articles about Houdini, memorabilia, escape challenges, and a section of simple effects and illusions.
This important relic preserves a bit of what Houdini’s crowds experienced during his last tour, leading up to his eventual 1926 death. Carefully scanned from an original, the program has been reprinted on top-quality paper for optimum reproduction, and its glossy cover nicely accentuates the richness of the iconic cover.
